We are delighted to announce that we are now open for business following our extension and refurbishment.

We now have an enhanced fresh food range, 6 freezers full of delicious Cook food as well as a wide range of groceries, drinks and many special offers.

We look forward to giving you a warm welcome in our new store.

It is with regret that today 25th October 2018 we have to announce that we have entered into an agreement with a developer to sell Maloney’s Retail Stores (Ascot) Ltd to them.

The store will cease trading on 24th November be closed for a period of time for refurbishment and re-branding when it will re-open as a another retail brand.

Our Ascot staff will transfer to the new retailer and will be protected.

We thank our loyal customers and our staff for their efforts over the past 12 years and will support them through the sale process. We anticipate that business will carry on as usual over the next 4 weeks and hope that we can count on our customers support during this time.

We have not taken this decision lightly but in the current economic climate we feel that a stronger retail brand will give our staff greater job security, career progression and provide a sustainable retail proposition for the town of Ascot.

This does not affect our store in Virginia Water where it is very much business as usual.

They have just finished a great season in the Surrey Youth League, 5 a side.
After starting the season winning 2 out of 4 games they were moved up a level and towards the end of the season won a festival event. They finished  the season very strong winning 7 out of the last 9 games played .
Even though the season has ended they continue training together 1-2 times a week and are entered into 3 tournaments throughout the summer . this is all in preparation for the new season when they will move up to 7 a side football and will recruit 1-2 new team members .
Next weekend they will attend the end of season presentation event where there will be number of trophies given out to include managers player, players player  and  most improved player .
Well done to the whole team

We have a fantastic new range in our Ascot store. Freshly baked goods from our newest artisan producer The Good Taste Bakery, a local company based in Camberley. Dean the owner and master baker helped us to put the range together and we are very pleased with the results – so much so that we wrote a poem!

In the darkness of last night, while most of you were sleeping,

The bakers at Good Taste were mixing dough and kneading.

Quality is their motto with everything made from scratch,

Over 40 breads & rolls & treats make up every batch.

As midnight falls they’re hard a work starting to bake

And by 1am they’re packing the first bread & cake.

By 6am it’s in the van and on its way to us,

At 7am on our shelves and looking good, we trust.

Our first happy customer had fresh bread before 9,

Many others followed since because it’s rather fine.

We are sure that you will love this range and to help you find your favourite products we are offering 1/3rd off until Wednesday 17th February. Why not pop in to see the full range for yourself. Enjoy!
